Maxxine Dupri, the WWE wrestler who was once an NFL cheerleader with the Los Angeles Rams, has revealed the effort teams would take to stop them getting involved with players.
The 28-year-old, who also worked in the NBA with the Phoenix Suns, appeared on Logan Paul's 'Impaulsive' podcast this week where she revealed how cheerleaders were taught not to ignite rumors about the personal lives of the stars on the team.
Dupri also said during her time in both sports, the cheerleaders were banned from associating with the players and that she didn't get to know any of them - but hinted it didn't stop others breaking the rules.
'I loved it,' she said. 'They were very tough on us for the type of job it is and the amount of money you make. At the end of the day we are representing the Rams organization.
'We had media training on if someone asks you who your favorite player is. They don't want you to say like 'Todd Guerhly' because then people are going to be like 'oh she is dating Todd Guerhly'.
'When I did NBA after it was the complete opposite. Phoenix Suns, NBA finals.'

She was then asked if any of the players 'said hello' to her during her cheerleading days.
'Not to me, no. I've been with my husband. I, you know, my friends had friends. There were times in the tunnel and the other team's water boy would come over and be like "so and so is throwing a party".
That's against our contract. You can't go to those parties. You can't fraternize with the players for NFL or NBA.'
Dupri then raised the example of Camille Kostek, the former New England Patriots cheerleader who has been with the team's legendary tight end Rob Gronkowski since 2015.
They first met in 2013, while Gronkowski played for the all-conquering Patriots from 2010 until 2018.
'Ok, so Camille is a great example but they kept it a secret while she was a cheerleader,' Dupri said. 'On Rams, if someone found out you'd be off the team. Suns was a little more lax.
'The Rams love everyone that works for them. We were treated so well, you couldn't leave the locker room without a security guard. The Suns did not know they had a dance team.'
Dupri headed into wrestling in 2021, attending a WWE tryout in Las Vegas and earning a contract.
Her last WWE fight was in February, losing to Nattie in a RAW episode. They are scheduled to face off again on Monday.
