Bucks Reveal Starting Lineup After Giannis Antetokounmpo Update

The Milwaukee Bucks have a quick turnaround on Sunday, March 15.

Following a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday, the Bucks are back at home from Georgia and hosting the Indiana Pacers in Wisconsin.

The battle down South was a difficult one for the Bucks, who were shorthanded. The veteran superstar forward, Giannis Antetokounmpo, was ruled out for the game.

The Bucks landed a strong performance from Ryan Rollins, who produced 22 points in 31 minutes. However, they ended up on the wrong side of a 122-99 score. The Bucks picked up their 39th loss of the year.

No matchup has been easy this year for Milwaukee, but they are taking on an injured and struggling Indiana team to follow up. Fortunately, the Bucks are getting a key helping hand back, as Giannis Antetokounmpo has been cleared to play.

Underdog NBA

Lineup alert: Bucks will start Rollins, Green, Kuzma, Giannis, Turner on Sunday.

The Pacers are going to start TJ McConnell, Aaron Nesmith, Jalen Slawson, Jarace Walker, and Ivica Zubac.

Whether it’s injuries to Giannis or outside noise about potential trade drama regarding Giannis, the Bucks have had to navigate through a tricky season.

The record proves that they’ve had a hard time overcoming those obstacles.

Heading into Sunday’s action, the Bucks are placed 11th in the Eastern Conference. They hold a 27-39 record. Currently, the Bucks have lost four in a row and dropped eight of their last 10.

Making the Play-In Tournament is still a priority for Milwaukee, but they have a lot of winning to do from here on out. The Charlotte Hornets are six games ahead of the Bucks in mid-March. They remain one of the hottest teams down the stretch, which is an unfortunate sign for the Bucks.

The Pacers are currently rolling with a 15-52 record. They are holding the second-last seed in the East and have lost their last 12 games.

Indiana will get some key names to play, after they were listed on the injury report, as will the Bucks.

Ivica Zubac, Obi Toppin, Jalen Slawson, Taelon Peter, Aaron Nesmith, and TJ McConnell have all been upgraded to available. Johnny Furphy, Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, Ben Sheppard, Pascal Siakam, and Ethan Thompson are all out.

In addition to Antetokounmpo, the Bucks will get Bobby Portis, Cormac Ryan, and Myles Turner back in the mix for Sunday’s action.

The game is slated for 3:30 PM ET.
