NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Drew Brees, who will be inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame this fall, has given countless legendary moments in the Caesars Superdome.
On Sunday (March 15), he delivered once again...on the baseball diamond.
The Saints legend was the surprise guest of the Savannah Bananas on Sunday. The exhibition baseball team played multiple games in New Orleans over the weekend as part of their stadium tour across the U.S. On Saturday, the new Saints franchise quarterback, Tyler Shough, was the Bananas’ guest of honor in front of a sold out crowd.

The baseball diamond is a familiar place for Brees. He was a notable high school baseball player. He served one at bat for the Bananas, but it was grounded out at shortstop and out at first.
As brief as the appearance was, the Superdome was more than happy to see the legend on the field again.
