Golden State Warriors trade target Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
After dealing with a lopsided loss in Atlanta, the Milwaukee Bucks returned home to Wisconsin to host the struggling Indiana Pacers.
The game marked the return of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who missed the first leg of the back-to-back set.
While Giannis was cleared to play, the veteran star suffered another setback during the second half. The former MVP left the court with a limp and was getting checked out by the training staff in the locker room for a bit.
Eventually, Antetokounmpo returned to the bench, but not to the game. The two-way standout told reporters that he believed he could’ve returned. In the end, the Bucks didn’t need his services to close out the game on top.
The Bucks defeated the Pacers 134-123.

With Sunday’s win over the Pacers, the Pacers improved to 28-39.
They have just two wins over the past 10 games. While they are just one seed away from the final NBA Play-In position, the Bucks have a long way to go to get there.
Currently, the Charlotte Hornets have a 5.5-game lead over the Bucks for that final spot. Unfortunately for the Bucks, the Hornets have continued playing like one of the hottest teams in the NBA.
Antetokounmpo will be a name to keep an eye on in the coming days. Although the Bucks have struggled with him lately, their chances of sneaking into the Play-In are much higher when he’s on the court.
The Bucks have until Tuesday, March 17, before they hit the floor again for a matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
