Jared Goff had a disappointing 2025 season with the Detroit Lions, with the franchise finishing last in the NFC North division with a 9-8 record and missing the playoffs. The team endure much criticism and faced calls for change from the fanbase.
The offseason period is ongoing and players are using this time to relax and enjoy. Goff’s wife Christen Harper has been venturing into a new career.
Harper was featured in the 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Photographer Ben Watts, who captured the shoot in Portugal’s Porto and northern coastal regions, reminisced about it and shared a collage of her standout images on [his Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/p/DVynsyMkZ3u/) with the caption, “That time in Portugal wiv @christengoff x @si\_swimsuit it rained a lot but that didn’t stop play.”

Harper then commented with the three-word phrase “Fav pics ever”. She was wearing various two-piece bikinis in the Portugal photoshoot which included a dark blue bikini, a white bikini, and a striped swimsuit. She posed in front of many iconic landmarks.
This was her fourth annual feature, following Atlantic City (2021), Barbados (2022, earning co-Rookie of the Year), Dominica (2023), and the 60th-anniversary Portugal trip alongside models like Camille Kostek and Katie Austin. Goff was there to support her on location in the May 2024 photo shoot, which was one of her favorite experiences. She is expected to appear in the 2026 edition of this year’s magazine, which will be released in May.
Harper was first discovered through SI Swimsuit’s 2021 Swim Search open casting call, and has since then been working with them on many projects. She has appeared in every issue of SI Swimsuit, posing in front of many iconic and beautiful locations, and wearing the best swimsuits. She talked about balancing motherhood with her career as a swimsuit model.
Harper and Goff welcomed their first daughter Romy Isabelle in July 2025. In an interview with SI Swimsuit, she talked about returning from motherhood to her career.
She said, “This past year has been such a transformative year for me. Being pregnant and becoming a mother, I think I have such a newfound confidence. There was so much ahead of me, so much change ahead of me. And this year, I’m stepping in just feeling like I know all those answers to those questions I had last year.”
Christen Harper will continue her work as a model, while Jared Goff will have to get ready for the next season.
