Liverpool offer rejected – Arsenal send official as Bournemouth try to win transfer fight

Liverpool, Arsenal, AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United and Fulham are in the mix to sign FC Midtjylland star Darío Osorio.

The Chile international moved to Europe when Midtjylland signed him from Universidad de Chile in 2023.

His development and performances in recent seasons have attracted interest from several clubs, including Liverpool, Arsenal, AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United and Fulham.

Operating mainly on the right wing, he’s scored 21 goals and contributed 15 assists from 99 matches. This includes six goals and 10 assists from 38 matches this season.

His form in the Superliga has improved when compared to last season and below highlights a few specifics per game [this season first] to point it out.

Goals per game: 0.2 – 0.1

Assists per game: 0.3 – 0.1

Shots on target: 1.1 – 0.7

Big chances created: 5 -2

Long balls: 2.8 – 0.9

Crosses: 0.7 – 0.2

Successful dribbles: 2.2 – 1.9

The 22-year-old’s gradual growth at the Danish club hasn’t gone unnoticed, especially in the Premier League.

PL interest in Chilean

That’s according to Campo, who name Liverpool, Arsenal, Bournemouth, West Ham and Fulham as his interested parties.

Campo makes it clear it’s their own information about these five English clubs and cover the latest.

There’s ‘great interest’ in the attacker, who is a ‘hot name for transfer’, meaning he’s a firm candidate to leave in the summer.

Liverpool have had the player on their radar for some time and have sent scouts to MCH Arena to watch him live. In December, Sport Witness relayed news of their officials’ trip to Denmark.

Arsenal have also sent their officials to closely monitor him, along with West Ham and Fulham.

The Reds previously made an offer of around DKK 65-75m [€8.7-10m] for the Chilean. The fee proposed didn’t please his club. Campo made no mention of Midtjylland’s request or when Arne Slot’s side made their bid.

Despite Liverpool’s last offer, Bournemouth are now the ‘most interested’ club. In short, Andoni Iraola’s side are currently ahead of the Reds, Arsenal, West Ham and Fulham.

Osario’s valuation, asking price and agent info

Back in January, the Danish club extended his contract until 2030, and Transfermarkt now value him at €10m.

The renewal puts them in a comfortable position to demand a much higher fee, if there’s a sale in the summer.

Sport Witness recently covered claims from Chile that Midtjylland want a club-record fee for Osorio. The current record is at €24m, from Ernest Nuamah’s sale to Lyon in 2023.

Despite the great interest, there’s nothing to suggest or indicate whether Liverpool, Arsenal, Bournemouth, West Ham or Fulham are willing to spend above €24m for Osorio.

Agent Pablo Lecler Fluxa and UnoSports represent the player and majority of the players managed by the agency are Chilean.
