Arsenal to get cash windfall! Italians keen to deo summer deal for impressive star

Fresh reports in the media have claimed Juventus are reportedly preparing a summer move for on-loan Arsenal star Jakub Kiwior following the defender’s impressive performances on loan at FC Porto.

According to reports cited by Footballinsider and other outlets, the Serie A giants are closely tracking the Polish international as they look to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the next transfer window. ARSENAL allowed Kiwior to join Porto on a season-long loan in order to gain more regular first-team football.

The 26-year-old has taken that opportunity well, becoming a regular figure in Porto’s defence and impressing with his composure on the ball and positional awareness. His form in Portugal has reportedly reignited interest from several European clubs, with Juventus now among those monitoring his situation closely.

Kiwior originally joined ARSENAL in January 2023 from Italian side Spezia in a deal believed to be worth around £20 million. During his time in north London he made dozens of appearances for the Gunners, often stepping in across the defensive line when needed.

However, breaking into the club’s preferred centre-back partnership proved difficult, leading to the decision to pursue a loan move to Porto for more consistent playing time.

Juventus have reportedly admired the defender for some time, having previously monitored him during his Serie A days with Spezia before Arsenal secured his signature. With the Italian club expected to strengthen their defence this summer, Kiwior has emerged as a potential target thanks to his experience in multiple leagues and his ability to play both centre-back and left-back.

Any potential deal could prove complicated, however. Porto’s agreement for the player reportedly includes an option or obligation to make the transfer permanent, meaning the Portuguese club may hold the first opportunity to secure his long-term future.

Despite that uncertainty, speculation continues to grow as Juventus plan their defensive rebuild ahead of the next campaign. For Kiwior, a return to Italy could be an appealing prospect given his successful spell in Serie A earlier in his career.

With several months remaining before the summer window opens, the situation remains one to watch as Juventus weigh up a possible move and Porto consider whether to keep the defender beyond his loan spell.
