Curry has been dealing with a knee injury and has not played since January 30.

Despite him missing more than a month, there is still no certainty about when he will return to action.

Speaking before the game against the Knicks, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr provided a positive update on Curry's injury, saying the star guard is heading in the right direction and could return sooner rather than later.

"Well, we expect him back," Kerr said. "He's trending in the right direction. It's been a tricky injury. I think he'll be back for sure. We just don't know if it's going to be a week or two or whatever. It's a day-to-day process."

Curry has appeared in 39 games for the Warriors this season, averaging 27.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game.

With the latest loss, the Warriors have dropped to a 32–35 record, sitting ninth in the Western Conference.
