5 Premier League Teams with the MOST 0-0 Draws This Season

Premier League football is supposed to be entertaining – at least, in theory. Sadly, it isn’t always the case – whether it be down to competitive inertia or a simple lack of quality, football in England’s top division can be decidedly uninteresting at times.

Today, we’ll be looking at the five Premier League teams who have picked up more 0-0 draws than anyone else in the division during the 2025/26 campaign.

Only one team has zero 0-0 draws on their record this season in the Premier League – Manchester United. That aside, who lays on the opposite end of this spectrum?

Sunderland

Both Aston Villa and Leeds United have also picked up three 0-0 draws this season, but they avoided inclusion based on their higher number of goals scored by those two teams.

With just 30 goals scored in 30 Premier League games, Sunderland are amongst the lowest-scorers in the division this season.

On the other hand, they’ve also been relatively solid at the back. The Black Cats’ return to England’s top tier has been impressive, but it hasn’t always been interesting to watch.

Newcastle United

The 2025/26 season has been a frustrating one for Newcastle United. They will need to score 25 goals in eight games to match their goals tally from the previous season – the loss of Alexander Isak in the summer was a major blow.

The Toon have struggled to put a run of results together all campaign – they have also had to sit through no less than four 0-0 draws.

Their goal record this season certainly reflects this – Newcastle have scored 43 goals and have also conceded 43 goals over the course of the season thus far.

Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest’s campaign has been unusually eclectic, thanks to frequent changes in management – however, one thing has remained consistent.

The Trees have been involved in four 0-0 draws this season – one of them actually costed now-former head coach Sean Dyche his job.

On top of this, Forest are the second lowest-scorers in the division this season – the only team who have scored fewer is (you guessed it) Wolves.

Bournemouth

This one surprised us – despite Andoni Iraola’s penchant for free-flowing football, Bournemouth have been involved in five goalless draws this season.

On top of this, no Premier League team has been involved in more draws than the Cherries have in 2025/26. So far, 14 of their 30 league games have resulted in stalemates.

Despite their record of goalless draws, Bournemouth haven’t been a low-scoring team – nor have they been particularly solid at the back. They have scored 44 goals this season, conceding 46.

Crystal Palace

Like Bournemouth, Crystal Palace have played out five 0-0 draws this season, but we placed them above the Cherries on account of their inferior scoring record.

Palace’s season fell off a cliff towards the end of 2025 – despite this, thanks to a couple of recent wins, they are avoiding a relegation battle for now.

Sadly, while results have improved somewhat, the Eagles aren’t doing much in terms of entertainment on the pitch.
