Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez could be on his way out of the club this summer, according to reports in Argentina.
TyC Sports claim that the 25-year-old “has a chance to leave” the Blues at the end of the season.
While head coach Liam Rosenior deems Fernandez as “irreplaceable”, the player is “prepared” to make a move in order to make “another leap” in his career.
Due to the costs involved, a departure is not regarded as straightforward but there is more than one team interested in securing the midfielder’s services.

Which clubs could make a bid for Fernandez?
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be the two main suitors at this stage. Real, in particular, are reportedly looking to strengthen thier midfield options this summer, and they wouldn’t have any issues paying a substantial transfer fee.
PSG are also in a position to spend sizeable sums, although they are not exactly short of numbers in the middle of the park, with head coach Luis Enrique having the likes of Vitinha and Joao Neves at his disposal.
Fabian Ruiz’s future could be key. The 29-year-old has had a season plagued by injuries and he will reach the final year of his contract this summer, so Fernandez may be seen as a potential replacement.

Other journalists, including the reliable David Ornstein, have played down the need to balance the books, and if there is no pressure to sell, you can bet that the club will do all they can to keep hold of Fernandez, even if he is angling for a move away.
