Back in Black: Kicking off a busy week with football practice, coaching search, & Hockey East…

Good morning everyone, and welcome to our newly renamed "Back in Black", our weekly kickoff and review of everything and anything related to the Boston College Eagles.

First off, we don't have full coverage of women's lacrosse, but credit to the team for quickly turning the program around after a rough start to the season. After struggling out of the gates, and starting the season 2-4, they have found their footing and won the last three games. They are going to get a real test on Saturday when they face UNC who are 7-1.

Hockey had a very note worthy weekend. After slamming Maine 5-0 in the Hockey East tournament, they found out that they are going to need to win the entire tournament to make the NCAAs. Fortunately Merrimack stunned Providence with a big upset, so Greg Brown and company are just going to need to beat UConn and either UMass or the Warriors. Not necessarily a gauntlet, but with the inconsistencies that BC has shown over the past month, the Eagles are certainly going to need to play better.
