Stephen Curry made his position clear as he continues to recover from a knee injury that has kept him off the court for more than a month.

The Golden State Warriors star guard is still working toward a return this season, even though some fans believe he should sit out and fully recover for next year.

Curry addressed the situation after the Warriors suffered a 110-107 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

"That's not who we are," Curry told The Athletic. "If we have stuff to play for, we play. So, I'm working to get back."

The veteran guard, who turned 38 on Saturday, has been sidelined since Jan. 30. Curry left that game against the Detroit Pistons with a runner's knee injury and has since missed the last 17 games.

Recently, Curry returned to the court for individual workouts, a positive sign in his recovery process.

The Warriors are hopeful he can return before the end of the regular season and play a few games to regain his rhythm before the Play-In Tournament.

Golden State currently holds a 32-35 record and sits ninth in the Western Conference.
