Jakub Kiwior's loan from Arsenal to Porto is expected to be made permanent in the summer transfer window, but that hasn't stopped clubs from registering their interest

Arsenal could receive a windfall after it emerged that Serie A giants Juventus are plotting a £30million move for Jakub Kiwior this summer. Kiwior, 26, left Arsenal in September to make room for the arrival of new signing Piero Hincapie, as he joined Porto on a season-long loan.
The deal includes an obligation to buy and after making himself a staple of Porto's defence under Francesco Farioli, the Poland international is set to join them permanently for around £23m. But the agreement doesn't mean Kiwior is guaranteed to be a Porto player next season.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Juventus have revived their long-standing interest in the centre-back, who can also play on the left-hand side of a four-man defence. Porto are said to have set their asking price at £30m and thanks to a sell-on clause, Arsenal would receive a handy extra £1.7m.
Kiwior is understood to be keen on the move, having played in Italy for Spezia before Arsenal signed him in January 2023 for £21m. Juventus reportedly want the 26-year-old, who made 68 appearances for the Gunners, to compete with former Bournemouth and Newcastle centre-back Lloyd Kelly.
This season at Porto, Kiwior has started 19 of their 22 Primeira Liga games. The Portuguese heavyweights are top of the table by seven points, having only conceded 10 goals.
Kiwior is expected to be involved in Thursday's Europa League last-16 second leg at home to Stuttgart, having watched from the bench as Porto pulled off a 2-1 win in the first leg last week. His minutes have been restricted by the January signing of Thiago Silva, who missed Saturday's 3-0 victory over Moreirense following the death of his mother.
Helping Porto earn their 17th clean sheet of the Primeira Liga season, Kiwior partnered compatriot Jan Bednarek. The Pole revealed in November that it was him who asked to leave Arsenal on loan, and opened up on Mikel Arteta's reaction.

"The earlier conversation, when I asked for the loan, was more difficult," Kiwior admitted on Laczy nas pilka. "I'd never done this before, but I felt the time had come to speak with him face to face. He understood me and supported me.
"As for Arsenal and Porto, league-wise, it might seem like a step back, but club-wise, it's absolutely not. At Porto, I have what I lacked in London: regular playing time. I feel great here."
