Lewis Hall has arguably been Newcastle United's standout performer of the 2025-26 campaign.

Newcastle United have no plans to sell Lewis Hall this summer amid reported Premier League interest.

The 21-year-old has arguably been Newcastle’s standout performer of the campaign. Signed from Chelsea in 2023, the Magpies took an initial risk on Hall.

He only had nine top-flight appearances to his name and was jostling between being a left-back and a midfielder. It took time for Eddie Howe to bed Hall into the team, with many questioning his arrival during those early months.

Hall began to show promise during the latter stages of his debut season before pinning down the position the following year. Fast forward to the present and the defender is now an England international and integral to Newcastle’s plans.

Lewis Hall interest

Inevitably, whenever a Newcastle player impresses, he is immediately linked with a move away. Recent weeks have seen Hall linked with possible summer switches to Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal.

It is understood that the Magpies plan to improve Hall’s terms to fall in line with top earners at the club. On the player’s end, there is recognition that Newcastle - his boyhood club - have been excellent for his development.

“We knew he wouldn't come straight into the team. We wanted to bring someone in that we feel could develop into that position. You never quite know how it's going to go. I know he had a really tough first year to do a lot of work behind the scenes.

“In that time, he had to really show mental strength and patience and commit to his development. He's reaped the benefits from that season onwards, really, where he's grabbed his chance in the team and he's playing again.”
