On Monday night, the New Orleans Pelicans will be in Texas to play the Dallas Mavericks.
The Pelicans are coming off a 107-105 loss to the Houston Rockets.
Dejounte Murray finished with 35 points, seven rebounds, four assists and one steal while shooting 14/18 from the field and 4/5 from three-point range in 31 minutes of playing time.

For Monday’s game, the Pelicans have listed Murray as questionable on the injury report.
Underdog NBA wrote: “Dejounte Murray (illness) listed questionable for Monday.”

Murray is in his second year playing for the Pelicans.
The former All-Star is averaging 19.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.8 steals per contest while shooting 54.7% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range in eight games this year.

Murray was the 29th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft out of Washington.
He has also spent time playing for the San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks over a decade in the league.
His career averages are 15.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.5 steals per contest while shooting 45.5% from the field and 34.0% from three-point range in 511 games.
Murray wrote (via X) on February 25: “Duh!!! Are we a contender? No. Can we reach top 6 spot? No. Can we build some momentum playing together and build winning habits rest of the season? Yes. Pelicans This Season

The Pelicans are the 13th seed in the Western Conference with a 22-46 record in 68 games.
They have won six out of their last ten games (and are 9-25 on the road).

Following the Mavs, the Pelicans will play their next game on Wednesday night when they return home to host the LA Clippers.
The Pelicans last made the NBA playoffs during the 2024 season when they had Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum on the roster.
