Raiders have signed former Colts free agent LB Segun Olubi.
Olubi began his career with the San Francisco 49ers after going undrafted out of San Diego State in 2022. The defender was released at final roster cuts before joining the Colts as a practice squad player and played the first four seasons of his career with the AFC South team.
The LB has been primarily a special teams player for the Colts, appearing in 51 games in his career, starting 2, and has 50 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, an interception and a pass deflection.
Now, Segun Olubi will join the team in Sin City, which is looking for a promising rebuild year.

After the 2026 offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders appear to be loaded in multiple areas of the roster. Adding Segun Olubi will give the team a quality special teams player who excels in that part of the game.
“Olubi joins the Silver and Black after four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts (2022-25), where he appeared in 51 games and recorded 20 tackles (14 solo), one pass defensed, one interception, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two blocked punts. He also registered 30 tackles on special teams, the most on the Colts over that span,” the Raiders’ communication staff wrote about the latest signing.
“In 2025, Olubi played in all 17 games and recorded 11 special teams tackles, one forced fumble and one blocked punt. He was one of just 13 players in the NFL to record 10-plus tackles and one forced fumble on special teams last season.”
Segun Olubi has played more than 75% or more of snaps for the Indianapolis Colts special teams over the last three seasons. The linebacker played just 6 snaps in the 2025 season.
The terms of the player’s contract have yet to be revealed.

Segun Olubi will reunite with a former teammate on the Indianapolis Colts, EDGE rusher Kwity Paye, who joined the Raiders on a three-year, $48 million deal.
Paye joins the Raiders defense under new head coach Klint Kubiak and new defensive coordinator Rob Leonard.
Starting 74 out of 75 games in his career, the pass rusher brings 30.5 sacks, 209 sacks and 5 forced fumbles to Las Vegas. Paye also has two seasons with 8 or more sacks under his belt.
The former Indianapolis Colts will join the group, headlined by Maxx Crosby, who had a turnaround after being traded to the Baltimore Ravens.
Reuniting with Segun Olubi gives the duo some familiarity to help them adjust to the new coaching staff and get the team back to winning ways.
