The New England Patriots have been busy to begin this offseason, as they are looking to build off of their surprise run to Super Bowl LX. While many folks are focused on the moves the team is making in an effort to improve its roster, it is also making some important moves off the field.
There's more money to be made in sports than ever before, which often leads to unique partnership and sponsorship opportunities. With that in mind, the Patriots announced on Monday morning that New Balance will serve as their official athletic footwear and apparel partner moving forward.
"The intelligent choice. We are proud to announce that New Balance will serve as the official and exclusive athletic footwear and apparel partner of the New England Patriots and Gillette Stadium," the team announced in a post on X.
As part of this deal, New England is going to unveil a new state-of-the-art training center next to Gillette Stadium that will officially be named the New Balance Athletics Center. Beyond that, New Balance will also be collaborating with the Patriots to help expand flag football initiatives across the local region.
This is a big deal for both parties involved, and fans will surely be excited to see what the new training facility ends up looking like. In the meantime, the Pats will continue to put in the work this offseason so that when they return to action in 2026, they are able to properly build off their breakout campaign.
