Los Angeles Rams predicted to sign player who once was drafted to be Lamar Jackson’s WR1

The [Los Angeles Rams](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/los-angeles-rams) are in a position to win now, and there’s reason to believe that Sean McVay and co. still want to add.

While slight speculation had linked them to a blockbuster move for WR A.J. Brown, that isn’t on the table at this point due to many reasons.

One name they’re being linked to as a potential option is receiver Marquise Brown.

The former first-round pick has shown signs of decent play throughout his career, but he’s yet to perform at a high-level on a week-to-week basis.

Wynston Wilcox of FanSided believes he’s worth the risk for the Rams to see if he has it in him.

“The LA Rams were in the market for Brown and the only way a trade was going to work is if they offloaded Davante Adams as part of the deal.

“They don’t need to make a big splash signing at this point so they could either turn to the NFL Draft or sign someone like Marquis Brown. Brown is a low-risk, high-reward move. Brown needs to find some semblance of success at this point in his career,” he [wrote](https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/patriots-broncos-rams-pivot-eagles-021625985.html).

Adding a player like Brown wouldn’t require much in terms of money, as it’d be a low-risk move with the possibility of it working out if Brown can stay on the field and do what he’s shown he’s capable of doing.
