Patriots New Training Facility Will Be Named After Popular New England Company

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The New England Patriots and New Balance announced a multi-year partnership between the two on Monday, in which the athletic clothing brand will now be the official and exclusive footwear and apparel provider of the organization and Gillette Stadium.

Later this spring, the Patriots are slated to unveil its new 160,000 square-foot training center which will be named after New Balance along with surrounding practice fields.

Designed as a fully integrated performance campus for football operations, the center brings together training, strength, conditioning and recovery into one ecosystem, enabling New Balance to work closely with the team to provide product innovation for footwear and athletic apparel,” the Patriots said in a statement.

New Balance will also be the presenting sponsor for Patriots Training Camp and the organization’s youth tackle and flag football initiatives.

New Balance Brand President and Chief Marketing Officer Chris Davis said the Patriots organization embodies excellence and that he is excited to partner with the franchise.

"New Balance is a brand that shares our deep roots in New England and our commitment to performance, innovation, and excellence," President of the Kraft Group and son of Patriots owner Robert Kraft Jonathan Kraft said. "As we look to the future, this new training facility will be a reflection of our relentless pursuit of improvement, providing our players and coaches with a world-class environment to prepare and compete for championships. We are proud to partner with New Balance.”

New Balance is a Boston-based company that was founded by William Riley in 1906. It has since grown to become a worldwide billion-dollar company with more than 14,000 employees.
