Watson (hamstring) is set to rejoin the Nuggets within this week after a month-long absence.
The Denver Nuggets are looking forward to the highly anticipated return of Peyton Watson.

While he and the rest of the team are being cautious about managing Watson's ongoing rehab, head coach David Adelman revealed that Watson could rejoin the Nuggets at some point this week.
“I have no idea,” Adelman said as he was asked for Watson's specific return date. “I would say just hopefully within the week. That was the hope a couple weeks ago. But it’s all about how he feels and how the medical guys feel like he’s responding to the stress he puts in his body.”
Watson has been out since early February for Denver after sustaining a Grade 2 right hamstring strain.
This injury development is simply brutal for the young forward, who has taken a huge leap this year by averaging a career-high 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists.
Watson's return can't be more crucial for Denver, as the Nuggets are fighting for a higher playoff spot and are currently 5th in the West with a 41-27 record.
