The NBA named Players of the Week for Week 21 of the season, taking into consideration performances from March 9-15.
As a surprise to no one, Bam Adebayo was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week, taking home the award after an incredible 83-point game.
In three games during the week, Adebayo averaged a staggering 41.3 points to go along with eight rebounds and 2.3 steals per game as the Heat have moved up to seventh in the conference.
This is Adebayo's second Player of the Week award this season, with his first coming January.
As for the Western Conference, Los Angeles Lakers star, Luka Doncic was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.
Just like Adebayo, Doncic had a great scoring week, including his first 50-point game as a member of the Lakers.
For the week, Doncic averaged a triple-double with 37.3 points, 11 assists and 10.7 rebounds per game.
The award marks Luka's third, having been recognized twice this season, in both November and January.
Like the Heat, the Lakers have also surged up the standings, moving to third place in the West, trailing only the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs.
As the playoffs loom, 15 games away, both Doncic and Adebayo will need to continue their stellar play as Miami and Los Angeles hope to keep pace in their respective conferences.
The two will square off later this month, as the Heat and Lakers face one another March 19.
