The injured star finally addressed his sudden inclusion from the past Warriors trade rumblings.
Jimmy Butler kept it straightforward as he addressed his inclusion in the speculations surrounding the Golden State Warriors from the previous NBA trade deadline.

Mainly, the star forward argued that he isn't "looped in" about the rumors, and that he didn't see himself landing with a different team outside the Bay Area.
"Unfortunately, I wasn't too worried about it."
After he went down with a season-ending torn ACL injury in his right knee, Butler was subjected to several whispers as the desperate Warriors looked for any potential significant trades to save their hopes of contention.
Butler, who will see his contract expire at the end of the 2026-27 season, was a part of the Warriors' rumored trade package around Giannis Antetokounmpo, but it was then dismissed. Reports suggest that Golden State remains committed to the 36-year-old and in his road to recovery.
As such, Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy, who served as a former teammate of Butler in the Chicago Bulls, also shot down the notion that the team has been shopping the injured star.
As Butler couldn't care less about the trade rumblings, he and the Warriors are looking to run it back next season once he finally recovers from his ACL injury.
