Chelsea boss Liam Rosenior has confirmed that Estevao could return to the substitutes’ bench for the game against Paris Saint-Germain.
The winger has missed the last six matches in all competitions due to a hamstring injury.
However, Rosenior said in his pre-match conference that Estevao is close to making his comeback:
“Estevao is back in training. He will be part of the group, and we’ll assess whether he can take part in the game at some point tomorrow.”
Expected Return Date – Tuesday 17th March vs Paris Saint-Germain (h)
Malo Gusto
The fullback is currently a doubt to face PSG. Speaking about the defender’s fitness on Monday, Rosenior said:
“In terms of Malo, he’s ill today. So we’ll have a look at him for tomorrow.”
While it seems unlikely that Gusto will start, he could make the bench if he is well enough.

Reece James
The captain is set to be on the treatment table for several weeks after sustaining a hamstring injury versus Newcastle.
Rosenior refused to estimate how long James could be out for, but he confirmed that the player will undergo tests to determine the seriousness of the issue:
“He felt something in his hamstring at the end of the game against Newcastle. Really frustrating and disappointing one for us, we don’t know the full extent of that injury. But that rules him out for tomorrow’s game.”
“It could be [weeks]. With a hamstring injury, it’s never great. And for Reece, hopefully we can just get him scanned, we can find out the full extent and then we know more.”
“Because obviously we know what an important player he is, what an important leader he is in the group. He’s our captain.”
Expected Return Date – April
