Zion Young - EDGE, Mizzou - I will say that these Mock Draft Mondays are going to be shorter in length. Green Bay doesn't have a first-round pick. That means every single mock that I have to look for throughout the internet has to have multiple rounds in it. Occasionally, one-round mocks will have "first" picks for the teams with no first-rounder, but a lot of mocks are just 1-32, so there are quite literally fewer mocks to choose from for Green Bay info.
With that said, I understand the EDGE choice here from a one-in, one-out standpoint. Green Bay is losing Rashan Gary and you'd think they'd want to spend a high pick on a pass rusher. I'm not so sure. The Packers have re-signed Brenton Cox. They already have Micah Parsons long term and haven't said anything yet that Lukas Van Ness isn't in their long term plans. Green Bay doesn't just throw out mid-round picks either, and they used a four and a five on Barryn Sorrell and Collin Oliver respectively, last year. Parsons, Van Ness, Sorrell, Oliver and Cox make five and special teamer Arron Mosby would make six. Green Bay could be content to see what Sorrell and Oliver are this year.
