Steve Kerr's legacy as one of the best coaches of all time has taken another important step.
Golden State Warriors / Schedule
As the Golden State Warriors took the 125-117 road win over the Washington Wizards on Monday, Kerr officially secured his 600th head coaching win.
He becomes the 28th head coach in NBA history to reach that mark.
Kerr joined the Golden State organization in 2014 to be the Warriors' newest head coach, and the rest was just history. He served as the team's mastermind in becoming a basketball dynasty, winning four NBA titles in six Finals appearances from 2015 to 2022.
10 years ago, Kerr also led the Warriors to a 73-win season, breaking the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record for most regular-season wins by a team in NBA history.
With the win over the Wizards, Kerr and the Warriors improved to 33-35. They are currently ninth in the Western Conference.
