Platinum-selling rapper Blueface has insisted that he will never fight on Adin Ross’ promotion again even though he earned $300,000 for what was supposed to be a tune-up bout.
Blueface has already signed and begun to promote a bout on May 2 with NBA champion Nick ‘Swaggy P’ Young in Miami. But since his last boxing match in 2023, he has tacked on 53lb and moved from middleweight to heavyweight as a result.

So he took what was essentially a warm-up fight on Saturday night’s Brand Risk Promotions event at Ross’ warehouse against the little-known streamer Chibu. However, disaster struck as he looked slow at the weight, was sent through the ropes and almost stopped in a humiliating defeat.
Blueface quits Brand Risk Promotions after losing in comeback fight
In his post-fight interview after Saturday’s win, Blueface told Adin Ross to his face that he is unlikely to return to the Brand Risk ring. For a brief period the following day ‘Swaggy P’ teased their fight being off as a result of the loss, but their promoter Ron Johnson has confirmed it is still very much on.
In subsequent streams, Blueface detailed how he earned a whopping $300,000 purse for a six-rounder at an invite-only show that was broadcast completely free on Kick and other social media platforms. But he still guaranteed that he would never step foot in Ross’ ring again under any circumstances.
“I’ll definitely never fight on Brand Risk again just based on Adin’s business skills,” a dejected Blueface said in a stream backstage following his defeat. “Adin, my man, Adin…”
In a later stream, he claimed Ross was ‘definitely scamming’, although to what end appears uncertain. “He tried to say I was drinking and getting lit [before the fight],” the rapper continued. “I don’t even drink, chat.
“All the highlights were in one round of a six round fight. If you go look at all the highlights of what everyone is posting, it all says ’round six’. Where’s the rest of it?
