Los Angeles Lakers superstar Luka Doncic continued his incredible run this season, putting up another remarkable performance in an important 100–92 win against the Houston Rockets on Monday.
Doncic finished the game with 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists, and tied an all-time Lakers great in the franchise's record books.
He tied Lakers legend James Worthy with 52 games of 30+ points as a Laker, with Worthy reacting to Luka's feat after the game by comparing how long it took him to achieve it.
"It took me 14 years!" Worthy said via Lakers Nation.
It was Luka's 84th regular season game as a Laker, after being traded to Los Angeles from the Dallas Mavericks last season.
This season, Doncic is the NBA's leading scorer, averaging 32.9 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 8.5 assists.
With the win against the Rockets, the Lakers are now on a six-game winning streak and currently sit third in the Western Conference with a 43–25 record.
