Chelsea are facing the uncomfortable reality that a number of clubs around the world would love to add Enzo Fernandez to their squad at the end of the season.
Liam Rosenior is adamant that Fernandez is irreplaceable, however Chelsea’s performances and results are not enough right now for a player of his quality.
Real Madrid and PSG have held a long-term interest in signing the World Cup winner, however are not the only clubs who are intrigued at the possibility of adding a superstar to their ranks.

Two Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on signing Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea
According to journalist Ismael Mahmoud, two clubs in the Saudi Pro League have made contact with the player in an attempt to convince him to move there this summer.
He said: “Two Saudi clubs have contacted Enzo Fernández to sign him in the summer. Saudi duo competes with Real Madrid and Paris for Enzo Fernández.”

Fernandez would be amongst some familiar faces if he did make the lucrative move to Saudi Arabia. Joao Felix is currently with Al-Nassr, while Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy are featuring for Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli respectively.
The midfielder didn’t exactly bolster relations with PSG during the Champions League clash against them last week either, pointing at the Club World Cup badge in front of supporters after Chelsea’s win in the competition last summer.
While Saudi interest would certainly be a lucrative way of buying him out of his lengthy current contract at Stamford Bridge, it feels as if Fernandez has the capabilities to win the top honours of European football first.

Chelsea cannot afford to lose Fernandez
The Argentina international is Chelsea’s second-biggest transfer in club history, and has been a key player for whoever is in charge, including Rosenior.
The Blues cannot be seen to be willing to cash in on their big players, with a number of other names likely to eventually follow him out the door.
Moises Caicedo, Cole Palmer and Estevao Willian should be alongside Fernandez as an unsellable player at the club, and this group being infiltrated could set off a snowball effect for the big names.
However Chelsea can convince Fernandez to stay, they must put in the work to keep their only World Cup winner at the club beyond this season.
