Juventus are reportedly prepared to sell striker Jonathan David this summer, with Premier League giants Chelsea and Liverpool once again linked with a move for the Canadian international.
According to reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Serie A side could consider offers for the 26-year-old during the upcoming transfer window as they reshape their attacking options. David only joined Juventus last summer after leaving Lille on a free transfer, but speculation over his long-term future has already begun to intensify.
The striker arrived in Turin with a strong reputation following a prolific spell in Ligue 1, where he consistently ranked among the top scorers and established himself as one of Europe’s most productive forwards.
However, his transition to Italian football has not been entirely smooth, with reports suggesting he has struggled to secure a regular starting role and has yet to fully convince within the club’s attacking hierarchy.
That uncertainty has alerted several clubs across Europe, particularly in the Premier League. CHELSEA have tracked David for several years, dating back to his time in France, while Liverpool have also previously been credited with interest as they assess long-term attacking reinforcements.
Recent reports indicate Juventus could be open to listening to offers if the right proposal arrives, especially if the club looks to restructure its forward line around other options. The presence of established striker Dušan Vlahović and other attacking arrivals has reportedly limited David’s opportunities, contributing to the growing speculation about a possible exit.
CHELSEA and Liverpool are not the only side monitoring the situation. Clubs in France are also believed to be keeping tabs on the Canada international, with Marseille reportedly interested in a potential move if they secure Champions League qualification next season.
Despite the rumours, no formal bids have been reported and Juventus are under no immediate pressure to sell, given David’s relatively recent arrival and long-term contract. Still, the prospect of a Premier League move could prove tempting if negotiations develop during the summer window.
For now, David’s immediate focus remains on finishing the season strongly in Turin. But with several clubs tracking his situation and Juventus reportedly willing to consider offers, the Canadian striker could emerge as one of the more intriguing names in the upcoming transfer market.
