Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber was forced to leave the pitch during the first-half of the 2-0 win against Everton on Saturday evening.
The Netherlands international was caught on the right ankle by Iliman Ndiaye in the 18th minute and underwent treatment.
Timber soldiered on for another 20 minutes, but he could not complete the first half, and he was replaced by Cristhian Mosquera.
The fullback is now a major doubt for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayer Leverkusen.

Manager Mikel Arteta was coy with his response after being asked whether the winger would be fit to face Everton.
Trossard ultimately didn’t make the matchday squad, and he remains a doubt for upcoming games against Leverkusen and Manchester City.
The Belgian international had to be substituted after sustaining a hip injury during the 2-1 win over Mansfield Town in the fifth round of the FA Cup earlier this month.
