Celtics Star Jaylen Brown Hears MVP Chants During Monster Game Vs. Suns

Jaylen Brown had one of the best games of his career on Monday night. He racked up 41 points, seven rebounds, six assists, a block and a steal, leading the Boston Celtics past the Phoenix Suns, 120-112, at TD Garden.

Brown scored nearly half of his points at the free throw line, going 19 for 21 at the charity stripe and setting career highs in makes and attempts. He had 10 free throw attempts in the first quarter alone.

Celtics fans serenaded him with "MVP" chants during his foul shots in the fourth quarter, saluting him for his incredible night and marvelous season.

After the game, Brown said he appreciates hearing the love and support from the crowd.

Brown was at the city's St. Patrick's Day parade in South Boston on Sunday. He rode in a green "741" float to promote his shoe line.

The 29-year-old is having the best season of his career, averaging personal bests in numerous categories while carrying Boston in Jayson Tatum's absence. Even with Tatum back, he's continued to carry the Celtics, as he showed on Monday night.

He and his teammates return to the court on Wednesday to host the Golden State Warriors at TD Garden.
