Arsenal are preparing to face Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday night.
The Gunners head into their second leg against Leverkusen level, as they drew 1-1 in the opening leg, meaning that Mikel Arteta‘s side will need to be on top form to get through to the quarter-finals, and keep their quadruple hopes alive.

Leverkusen have four players ruled out of the game on Tuesday night, according to TransferMarkt, including their first choice goalkeeper, former Brentford stopper Mark Flekken. The German keeper has an ACL injury, which has kept him out of action since mid-January.
Furthermore, centre-back Loic Bade is also dealing with an injury, and has been ruled out of the game against the Gunners. He has missed seven games with a hamstring issue.
Former Real Madrid right-back Lucas Vazquez is also ruled out, as he is dealing with a calf issue that he suffered in late February. Missing out on such experience in Champions League success could be a huge blow for Leverkusen.
Finally, fellow right-back Arthur is also out of the game on Tuesday, as he is dealing with a ligament tear that has kept him out of action for five weeks. It means Leverkusen have been forced to play 18-year-old Montrell Cullbreath at right-wing-back, so it could be a point of vulnerability.

The Gunners have just one player ruled out completely, and that is midfielder Mikel Merino, who continues to recover from his ankle injury. It looks as though he’ll be out of action until the end of the season.
Martin Odegaard is a doubt heading into the game, as he is dealing with a knee injury. Arteta said on Monday: “Yeah, so we’re really pushing. He really wants to be available, but we will have to see in the next few days when he trains with the team… how he feels.”
Furthermore, Jurrien Timber is also being assessed ahead of the game as he is dealing with an ankle injury. Arsenal hope that he can at least return for the Carabao Cup final at the weekend.
