Arsenal and Liverpool are both monitoring FC Midtjylland winger Darío Osorio as Premier League interest grows ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The 22-year-old Chile international has emerged as one of the most talked-about attacking prospects in Denmark following a strong season with FC Midtjylland. His performances have reportedly attracted attention from several clubs across Europe, including the two Premier League giants.
According to a report cited by Teamtalk, ARSENAL and Liverpool are among the sides closely watching the winger, whose attacking output this season has included around 16 goal contributions across competitions.
Osorio primarily operates as a right-sided winger but is capable of playing across the front line. Known for cutting inside onto his stronger left foot, he offers a mix of pace, ball-carrying and long-range shooting that has made him a key creative outlet for Midtjylland since joining from Universidad de Chile in 2023.
Reports suggest the Danish club could demand a relatively modest transfer fee of around £12 million for the player, a figure that has helped attract interest from multiple English clubs.
However, despite the links with Arsenal and Liverpool, the interest from the elite clubs is believed to be at the scouting and monitoring stage rather than advanced negotiations.
Other Premier League sides, including West Ham United and Fulham, are also believed to be keeping tabs on Osorio as they search for attacking reinforcements.
Osorio joined Midtjylland in 2023 and has since established himself as one of the club’s most important attacking players while also breaking into the Chile national team setup.
With the summer transfer window approaching, the winger’s future could become one of the emerging storylines of the market, especially if Premier League interest intensifies in the coming months.
Could Dario Osorio really move to the Premier League?
The growing interest in Dario Osorio is not surprising. The Premier League has increasingly looked toward emerging markets and smaller European leagues for talent, and the Chilean winger fits that recruitment model perfectly.
At just 22 years old, Osorio already has senior international experience with Chile and has proven he can perform consistently in a competitive European environment with Midtjylland. His ability to carry the ball, attack defenders and contribute goals makes him the type of winger modern Premier League teams value.
A transfer to ARSENAL or Liverpool would represent a huge step. Both clubs have established attacking options and high expectations, meaning Osorio could struggle for regular minutes initially. For a player still developing, limited playing time could slow his progress.
This is why reports suggesting that clubs such as West Ham or Fulham could be more realistic destinations make sense. At those teams, Osorio would likely receive more opportunities to start and adapt to English football.
Financially, the move is feasible. A reported £12 million valuation is relatively low by Premier League standards and makes the transfer a low-risk gamble for many clubs.
In reality, the most likely scenario may be a stepping-stone move. If Osorio joins a mid-table Premier League side and performs well, it could eventually open the door to a bigger club.
