Arsenal's main Premier League rivals are staring down the barrel of a premature Champions League exit tonight.
And that only three days after slipping NINE points behind the Gunners in the Prem standings following a 1-1 draw a West Ham.
Man City's season is at a crossroads and at risk of fizzling out. Unless they can win by a four-goal margin against Real Madrid in the northwest tonight.
Ex-Spurs January target Antoine Semenyo, who has scored ELEVEN times against London clubs, is steadfast in his belief that Man City can turn the tie around against the 15-time Champions League winners despite a 3-0 first-leg trashing.
He exclusively told Capital Football: "We still believe.
"I feel like we've got top players in the team that can change a game and turn it around very quickly.
"We just have to play our game and if we get our chance we'll take it.
"I wouldn't say confidence dipped \[after Valverde gave them the lead\] but they had their moments and kept the ball really well.
"They exploited that bit of space that we had in the middle of the park.
"It's obviously a bit tough but again happens against a top team.
"If you give them a chance they take it.
But Semenyo doesn't listen agree with the popular belief that the earlier they can pull one back the better. And that the longer it stays 0-0 the less of a chance they have to complete a stunning comeback.
He said: "It doesn't matter...early would be great but it's obviously not gonna be as easy as that so..."
While Arsenal have a tough nut of their own to crack with Leverkusen around tonight they will be curious to see what their Carabao Cup final rivals do.
Another bitter blow for Pep Guardiola's men would turn Sunday's final as a do-or-die clash and a last chance saloon to salvage what would be a grim season.
Yet be it in the title race or in Europe... just never write off Man City. Arsenal can testify to it.
