The Cincinnati Bengals have arguably the most potent offensive attack in the NFL, led by star quarterback Joe Burrow and two of the best wide receivers in the league in Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins.
Somewhat inexplicably, the Bengals are in the midst of a three-season playoff drought. During the middle of the 2025 campaign, Burrrow touched on just how much things needed to change in order for the franchise to get things turned around.
“We don’t want to be in the spot we are in now, so something’s got to change,” Burrow said in December, per ESPN. “Whether it’s players we have continuing to improve and get better and play championship-caliber football or bringing in guys that will or whatever it may be. Obviously, something has to [change].”
However, the offseason has arrived, and Burrow is taking some personal time, which should be normal, but not all Bengals fans are seeing things that way. Many are questioning his love for the game after he reportedly left the Vanity Fair Oscars Party with Alix Earle, Stassie Karanikolaou, and Tate McRae.
“My goat dumped a down to Earth Ohio 10 to run around with the (celebrities) and we haven’t seen the playoffs since,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Bengals will forever be stuck with a shell of a player,” someone else added.
“How many super bowls does he have? A big fat 0 and that will continue but go ahead and be a celebrity QB thank god I’m a Broncos fan and thank god we have Bo Nix,” one fan added.
It’ll be interesting to see how Burrow responds to his critics with his play this upcoming season.
