According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Texans have signed Wyatt Teller to a two-year, $16 million contract, with a maximum value of $23 million via playtime incentives after reported mutual interest. The offense now needs to determine how to line up the three-time Pro Bowler and Ed Ingram, both of whom have primarily played right guard in the NFL. Teller last played at left guard in his rookie season with the Buffalo Bills in 2018 after exclusively playing there at Virginia Tech, while Ingram predominantly played left guard at LSU.

Cleveland Browns offensive guard Wyatt Teller looks to make a block during OTA practice on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 in Berea.

Wyatt Teller has had a rough past two seasons, missing eight games due to injuries, while seeing his production dip after making his third Pro Bowl in 2023. He missed four games in 2024 with an MCL sprain and four games in 2025 due to a calf strain that he later aggravated during Week 13, the game in which he was benched in the starting lineup. Teller has allowed 51 pressures, 41 hurries, and five sacks in 26 games over that span.
