Expect NFL talent evaluators to arrive in bunches for a closer look at these recent Penn State standouts. Now five weeks away from the start of a seven-round draft (April 23-25 in Pittsburgh), it's an important step forward in attempts to elevate individual stocks.

Penn State ranks among the top 10 college football programs in producing NFL draft picks, with 394 players on that list, which features 44 first-round selections. Offensive lineman Vega Ioane is considered a clear Round 1 talent in this Nittany Lions class, while all others are seemingly competing for draft slots across Day 2 (Round 2-3) and Day 3 (Rounds 4-7).

The NFL Scouting Combine occurred in Indianapolis a few weeks ago, but the physical testing and positional drills continue in Pro Day settings. In between these events, longtime ESPN draft expert Mel Kiper updated his positional rankings and placed several Penn State products in the mix.
