The Baltimore Ravens desperately needed to address the center position this offseason after losing 3x-Pro Bowler Tyler Linderbaum to the Las Vegas Raiders. The two projected in-house candidates include former Maryland 2024 undrafted free agent Corey Bullock and former Atlanta Falcons seventh-round pick Jovaughn Gwyn. Bullock has logged seven career snaps at center, while Gwyn has yet to appear in a single regular-season snap at the position.

Danny Pinter competed for the starting right guard and the backup center positions in 2024, but ultimately lost both competitions and served as the third-string center. He appeared in 14 games but did not log a single offensive snap in all but two of them and was a healthy scratch three times. Pinter started two games (Weeks 13 and 15) when both Ryan Kelly and Tanor Bortolini were sidelined, and totaled 138 snaps.
Pinter competed for the starting center position in 2025 but lost the starting job to Bortolini. He appeared in every game but logged an offensive snap in only six of them. He completed the rest of Week 16 at center due to injury and started in Week 17, finishing with 135 snaps at the position and three at right guard.
