After spending each of his four seasons in the NFL with the [Cincinnati Bengals](https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/category/nfl-teams/bengals/), [Cam Taylor-Britt](https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/T/TaylCa01.htm), the 60th-overall pick of the 2022 NFL Draft, has agreed to a contract with the Indianapolis Colts, reuniting him with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo.
Cam Taylor-Britt, Colts, Agree to Contract
------------------------------------------
Taylor-Britt’s time at Nebraska resulted in six interceptions and 21 pass breakups, making him worth the late-second-round selection for the Bengals. As a rookie, Taylor-Britt missed the first five weeks due to a core muscle injury he suffered in training camp, for which he underwent surgery. Over the last 10 weeks, he made nine starts, playing 93% of defensive snaps, and amassed 55 tackles, six pass breakups, and one forced fumble.
In the playoff run, he made 11 tackles, broke up three passes, and hauled in an interception in the win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Divisional Round.
Taylor-Britt took over as a starter in 2023 as well, though he missed five weeks in the middle of the season. In those other 12 games, he totaled 50 tackles, one tackle for loss, four interceptions, 11 pass breakups, and a forced fumble. His first career interception in the Week 5 win over Arizona was returned for a touchdown.
Then, for the first and only time in his career, Taylor-Britt appeared in and started 17 games in 2024. In those 17 games, he had a career-high 77 tackles and 16 pass breakups to go with three interceptions. For the second season in a row, one of his interceptions resulted in a pick-six.
Last year was not the best for the cornerback. He appeared in just eight games and started two. In that time, he amassed just 21 tackles, one tackle for loss, and five pass breakups. His season ended after suffering a Lisfranc foot injury in Week 11.
During the season, Taylor-Britt was arrested for driving without a license and reckless driving following the Bengals’ Week 2 win at home against the Jaguars. He served five days in jail in January, so his new team won’t have that hanging over him.
