In his appearance on 95.7 The Game's Willard & Dibs, head coach Steve Kerr revealed an important update on the ongoing rehabilitation of the superstar guard.
"He is trending in the right direction. He's ramped up his workouts. The reason he's on the trip is because he now needs extra bodies, people to play with, and we'll be doing that over the course of this road trip over the next week, and with the hopes that he'll be able to scrimmage by the end of the trip," Kerr revealed.
"But it's literally day-to-day. Rick Celebrini's here on the trip. He's working with him every day. They went over to the arena when we got to Boston today for a workout, and so we'll just keep hoping that things continue to progress."
Curry is still recovering from his "runner's knee" condition. Out since late January, Curry's return timeline has been pushed multiple times by the Warriors.
He already missed the last 22 games for Golden State, as the Dubs continue their fight in hopes of qualifying for this year's NBA Playoffs.
They are currently ninth in the Western Conference standings with a 33-35 record.
With Curry being a part of their six-game road trip, Kerr and the Warriors certainly hope that the two-time MVP will take further positive recovery steps before they go home to the Bay Area.
