Vikings sign Bills RFA OL Ryan Van Demark to offer sheet

The Vikings have signed Bills offensive lineman Ryan Van Demark to a 1-year, $4.3M offer sheet, KSTP Sports has learned. Since Van Demark is a restricted free agent, the Bills now have five days to match the offer. Buffalo would not receive compensation if it allows Van Demark to leave.

Van Demark played in 43 games and started six from 2023-25. He combined for 511 offensive snaps over the past two seasons. Last year, he played 154 snaps at right tackle and 43 at left tackle.

So, if he lands with the Vikings, he would serve as a backup to left tackle Christian Darrisaw and right tackle Brian O’Neill.

The Vikings also on Tuesday night signed free agent punter Johnny Hekker to a 1-year deal. He was the Rams’ punter in 2020 and 2021 when Kevin O’Connell was L.A.’s offensive coordinator.

Hekker earned _Associated Press_ All-Pro honors in six consecutive seasons from 2013-18. He joins the Vikings for his 15th NFL season.
