Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld, are nesting as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
While the famous couple is keeping a low profile as her due date nears, Steinfeld opened up about her “gorgeous” baby shower in the March 17 issue of her newsletter, Beau Society. Her mother, Cheri Steinfeld, hosted the event at the 29-year-old’s home in Los Angeles and invited 30 of her closest friends.
“Looking around and seeing this amazing group of women all together celebrating me in this moment meant so much,” Steinfeld wrote. “I can’t believe that this little person, who no one has even met yet, is so loved.”
The actress put comfort first, wearing an off-white Stella McCartney dress and brown boots. “The minute I put it on, it felt like something I’d wear pregnant or not. The key to dressing when you’re pregnant, I’ve found, is trying to wear what you would normally wear (or as close to it as you can).”
While there was no theme, everyone brought a baby book. “A subtle nursery-rhyme thread was woven throughout the decor,” she wrote, noting how her little one is already “building quite the little library.”
As Steinfeld and Allen await the arrival of their baby, rare photos of the couple emerged in Southern California.

TMZ captured photos of the famous couple over the weekend in Orange County, California, where Allen owns a home in Dana Point.
Allen plunked down $7.2 million to purchase the 2,808-square-foot abode shortly after he started dating Steinfeld in May 2023. The Bills star’s summer home, located in the exclusive gated community of Monarch Bay, includes access to the private Monarch Bay Beach Club, owned by the Waldorf Astoria. The resort offers an oceanfront golf course, a major draw for the quarterback.
Less than two months after the 2024 NFL MVP and Steinfeld tied the knot, Allen listed his Dana Point home for sale at $8.5 million. However, he took it back off the market in January, shortly after they announced Steinfeld’s pregnancy.
It seems the couple is happy with two SoCal homes. Steinfeld owns a house in Encino, a suburb northwest of LA, about 80 miles from Dana Point. She purchased John Fogerty’s former home for $8 million in 2021, per Realtor.com. The 9,000-square-foot home has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a massive backyard with a built-in pool, hot tub, and outdoor kitchen.

Steinfeld, who starred in the hit film “Sinners,” debuted her baby bump on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in January. However, she was absent from the Actor Awards earlier this month. And despite “Sinners” racking up a record-breaking 16 Oscar nominations, Allen and Steinfeld didn’t attend the 98th annual Academy Awards on March 15.
The following day, Steinfeld sent a heartfelt message to the film’s big winners.
She added in her newsletter, “I think I cried the whole show! Between Miles’ performance (with Jayme and Lili AND Misty Copeland???), and Michael, Ryan, and Ludwig winning, then Autumn accepting her Oscar as Ryan ran her son Aiden up the aisle to get a closer look at his mama making history! It was a magical night watching my entire Sinners family shine.”
