Chelsea crashed out of the Champions League in embarrassing circumstances, with captain on the night Enzo Fernandez left baffled at what he had seen early on.

PSG extended their aggregate score to 8-2 after dominating the second leg of the Round of 16 at Stamford Bridge, with the Blues again architects of their own downfall.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia found the net after a Mamadou Sarr error, before the Blues gave the ball away for Bradley Barcola to score.

Enzo Fernandez rages at Chelsea defence after errors vs PSG

After early errors from Chelsea, Fernandez’s frustration reached boiling point. The TNT Sports cameras pictured him laying into the defenders for their part in the goals conceded.

Commentator Sam Matterface described the midfielder as being in ‘disbelief’ at what he had seen, especially considering the magnitude of their collapse a week ago.

Fernandez was one of those who was sacrificed early in the second half, with Liam Rosenior clearly thinking about the upcoming Premier League game with Everton.

Rosenior’s decision was booed by those who were still in attendance at Stamford Bridge, with supporters starting to show their anger towards the manager.
