Suns' Devin Booker and Timberwolves' Julius Randle
The PhoenixSuns are now losers of three straight, dropping a crucial meeting to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116-104.
Suns suffer blow to playoff hopes in loss to timberwolves
With the loss, Phoenix falls to 39-30 on the season while Minnesota moves to 42-27, creating a three-game gap in the Western Conference standings.
While there are 13 games remaining in the regular season, the Suns may be stuck on the outside looking in to the Play-In Tournament picture, as the sixth seed is almost completely out of reach.
Phoenix shot just 38.7% from the field, and it was led by 34 points from Devin Booker, who scored 34 points on 11-of-27 shooting. Jalen Green, however, was limited to just nine points on 3-of-17 shooting.
