Steve Kerr is only the second person in NBA history, after Don Nelson, to win 600 games both as a player and as a head coach.
With his 600th career win as head coach, earned in a victory over the Washington Wizards, Golden State Warriors' Steve Kerr added his name to another elite category.
Golden State Warriors / Schedule
According to ESPN, Kerr became just the second person in NBA history to record 600 wins both as a head coach and as a player.
The only other individual to achieve this feat is Hall of Famer Don Nelson, who also previously coached the Golden State Warriors.
Now in his 12th season with the Warriors, Kerr has led the franchise to four NBA championships during his tenure as head coach.
With 600 wins, he currently ranks 28th all-time in regular-season coaching victories.
This season, the Warriors, dealing with multiple injuries, sit ninth in the Western Conference with a 33–35 record.
