The latest Premier League transfer rumours - with news from Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle, Manchester United and more.

Another busy day of gossip has been and gone, and as always we’ve collected some of the biggest (and wildest) new Premier League transfer rumours you might have missed over the past 24 hours to keep you up to date – and today, we get going with a story involving Everton, Arsenal and others besides.

According to Caught Offside, Everton are among three top-flight sides considering a loan offer for Gunners left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly, who has struggled for minutes this season thanks to Riccardo Calafiori’s impressive form.

Crystal Palace and West Ham are also said to be “monitoring the situation closely,” with Arsenal themselves allegedly “open” to loan moves provided Lewis-Skelly is guaranteed sufficient playing time. The 19-year-old apparently finds the idea of a temporary move away from the Emirates “increasingly attractive” as he waits for chances under Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal are supposedly still convinced that Lewis-Skelly has too bright of a future to let him leave permanently, but could allow him to spend some time with a Premier League rival to gain some experience.

The 3AM Verdict: There’s no suggestion that any contact has been made over a deal and we’re somewhat sceptical about this article, which is plainly somewhat speculative and contains relatively limited detail. That said, a loan move makes a certain amount of sense with Piero Hincapié expected to sign permanently this summer, so it will be interesting to see what the Gunners decide to do.

Newcastle & Brighton among sides watching international winger

On to a story from Sport Witness now which suggests that Newcastle, Brighton & Hove Albion and Crystal Palace all have Turkey international Baris Alper Yilmaz on their “transfer agenda” for the summer – with all three sides said to have “taken notice” of his form for current club Galatasaray.

Apparently Turkish media sources have also suggested that Chelsea had interest in the summer but a deal never materialised with Yilmaz’s employers asking for a fee in the region of €45-50m (up to £43m). Whether that asking price still stands is unclear as of now, but Galatasaray consider is “highly likely” that they will receive offers.

Chelsea aren’t mentioned as being an interested party now but the other three Premier League sides mentioned “will continue to monitor him” for the remainder of the season before making a decision on whether to launch a bid.

The 3AM Verdict: Yilmaz was a staple of the gossip columns last summer and we aren’t surprised to see his name coming round again – he’s talented, has a strong track record in Turkey and a number of sides have been linked with him in the past. We wouldn’t be remotely shocked if any of the sides mentioned made a bid come the summer.

Manchester United ‘make contact’ over Belgian wonderkid

Let’s round things off with a story from journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who has claimed via social media that Manchester United have “officially made contact” with Ajax ahead of a bid for rising Belgian star Mika Godts.

The 20-year-old left winger has had a hugely impressive season in the Eredivisie, scoring 14 goals in 25 league matches, and has drawn somewhat inevitable comparisons with compatriot Eden Hazard – as such, Ajax supposedly believe that he will be “one of the main attractions” in the coming transfer window.

There’s no word on what United might offer for Godts, nor any suggestion that an agreement has been reached as yet, but apparently the youngster “is expected to leave” Amsterdam this summer. He is contracted up until 2029, so a deal is unlikely to prove cheap.

The 3AM Verdict: Godts’ form is such that we certainly expect interest from several sides – it’s very likely that Manchester United will have some stiff competition from other elite sides. It’s too early, therefore, to express any confidence that this is a deal that will get done, although we’d be rather surprised if Godts was still at Ajax come September.
