Arsenal have seen some interest from the Serie A in one of their star defenders ahead of the summer.
The Gunners will likely plan to keep as many of their players in the summer as possible seeing as they have been so successful so far this season. Arsenal are top of the Premier League table, nine points clear of Manchester City, after the Gunners won 2-0 against Everton at the weekend.

Mikel Arteta’s side are also battling for a place in the Champions League quarter-final, as they are currently drawing 1-1 against Bayer Leverkusen in their round of 16 match.
One of their key players is attracting a lot of transfer interest ahead of the summer, and it would come as a surprise if Arsenal were to allow him to leave.
Arsenal respond to Calafiori interest
Riccardo Calafiori joined Arsenal from Serie A side Bologna in July 2024 for a fee that totalled around £40m, and he has since become a key player for Arteta.
The Italy international has made 41 Premier League appearances for Arsenal so far in his career, and has made a big impact, especially in his second season, as this year, he has claimed the left-back spot for his own.
According to TeamTalk, news outlets in Italy suggest that several Serie A clubs are interested in signing Calafiori, with the likes of Juventus, Inter and AC Milan all interested in signing Calafiori in the summer, amid claims he could return to Italy.
However, the report by TeamTalk claims that the Gunners have also made it very clear that Calafiori is not for sale, which comes as no surprise because he has only been at the Emirates for less than two years, and is a key player for the Gunners, especially this season.
