Enzo Fernandez has set the cat amongst the pigeons at Chelsea with a non-committal answer about his future at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues were dumped out of the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night by current champions Paris Saint-Germain in humiliating fashion.
Having lost the first leg of the last 16 encounter at the Parc des Princes 5-2, Chelsea were undone 3-0 on their home turf to go crashing out of the tournament by an 8-2 aggregate scoreline.

With the Blues having only won one of their last five in the Premier League too, to slip to sixth in the table, there are no guarantees that they qualify for next season's Champions League either.
Speaking after the game against PSG, Fernandez, who arrived at Chelsea in a staggering £107million deal in 2023, was asked if he would still be at the club next season. He said: "I don't know, there are eight games left and the FA Cup. There's the World Cup and then we'll see."
Chelsea's position is clear, however - that Fernandez is not for sale. And the only way they would entertain the Argentine leaving the club in the summer transfer window was if they were to recoup all of the £107million they paid Benfica for him.
Speaking in his GIVEMESPORT newsletter, which you can sign up to receive direct to your email inbox here, senior correspondent Ben Jacobs delivered the inside scoop on Fernandez and his situation.
He said: "Chelsea don't want to sell, plain and simple. The only way that that would change is if a crazy, astronomical offer was made, and there's just not many clubs in world football that would be prepared to do that.
"They would never entertain a book loss on Enzo Fernandez, and remember, Reece James is out with a hamstring injury for several weeks, and that means that Enzo Fernandez, the vice captain of the football club, will captain Chelsea between now and the end of the season.
The Club Enzo Fernandez Is Most Interested In Signing For

"Some have suggested PSG, that's not my understanding. Others have said Saudi Arabia, but Enzo Fernandez is not open to making a move to Saudi at this stage of his career, and then you have Real Madrid.
"I'm not aware at this stage of Real Madrid going to Chelsea or Enzo Fernandez and saying they're in the race, but what I can tell you is if Real Madrid were to advance any interest, then that's the club that Enzo Fernandez, I believe, from speaking to sources, would be quite interested in joining, but he remains committed to Chelsea, he's not agitating for a move at this stage.
"We'll have to wait and see what the summer brings, whether Chelsea get Champions League football, what kind of offers are on the table.
"It's a little bit too early to tell how the story is going to develop, but Chelsea hold all of the cards. He's their vice captain, he's one of their best players, and he's contracted until 2032."
