The Baltimore Ravens made a coaching change in early February, parting ways with quarterbacks coach Tee Martin ahead of the 2026 season. Martin, who played quarterback at Tennessee, originally joined the Ravens in 2021 as their wide receivers coach before getting bumped up to work with the quarterbacks in 2023.
The move was not exactly shocking. Jesse Minter took over as head coach on January 22, and when offensive coordinator Declan Doyle came aboard shortly after, it became clear the staff was getting reworked.

The quarterbacks coach spot ended up falling under Minter’s direction, leaving Martin on the outside. It did not take long for Martin to find his next opportunity though.
According to Jordan Schultz, Martin is joining LSU as an offensive analyst under Lane Kiffin. The hire brings Martin back to the college game and reunites him with Kiffin, who first gave him a job at USC over a decade ago in 2012.

Martin’s resume covers a lot of ground. He broke into coaching in 2006 at Morehouse College, handling the passing game before spending time at North Cobb High School and North Atlanta High School in similar roles.
His first major college gig came at New Mexico in 2009 under Mike Locksley. A year later, Kentucky hired him to coach wide receivers, a job that eventually expanded to include passing game responsibilities.

USC gave Martin his biggest break when Kiffin brought him in during 2012. He worked his way up to offensive coordinator by 2015, but a rough 5–7 season in 2018 cost him the job.
Tennessee hired him in 2019, and two years later, the Ravens brought him to the NFL. Now, after three years in Baltimore and a regime change that did not include him, Martin is headed back to college football.
