The Los Angeles Clippers are on the road to face the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday, March 18.
Heading into the game, the Clippers have a few injury concerns they are facing. One of them happened to be the star guard, who came over at the trade deadline, Darius Garland.
After seeing the court for the past two games, Garland was listed as questionable for the Clippers on Wednesday. The injury report suggested he could get a night off due to injury management.

Although there was some doubt about Garland’s playing status in New Orleans, the Clippers officially upgraded the star guard ahead of the action.
He is set to play in his third-straight game for the Clippers during this mid-March stretch.

Garland started the season off with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He debuted on November 5, after recovering from an offseason setback.
Although he was able to return in November, the veteran guard was in and out of the lineup. Eventually, the Cavaliers looked for ways to cut ties with Garland. The Clippers were the ideal trade candidate, since they were willing to move James Harden ahead of the deadline.
Garland officially joined the Clippers in early February, but he was still recovering from a setback. He didn’t make his debut with the team until March 2. When he did, Garland checked in for 22 minutes against the Golden State Warriors, The veteran guard shot 4-9 from the field, scoring 12 points.
In the following game, Garland produced 12 points, knocking down 5-10 shots from the field. He also racked up eight assists in 23 minutes. In the following game, Garland got the night off.
Since making his Clippers debut, Garland has posted averages of 19.9 points, 6.6 assists, and 1.1 steals.
The veteran guard shot 45% from the field and hit on 46% of his threes. The Clippers are 5-2 in games that Garland has played so far.
